    Brian Cleveland

Vice President of Acquisitions and Business Affairs

After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, Brian Cleveland started his career in documentary film on BIOGRAPHY for the A&E channel as well as in new media productions for the AMPEX Corporation. He also wrote and directed a short film called “Dollarsandsense” which won “Best of” at New York’s Short Film Slam.

With a desire to transition into feature films, Brian studied screenwriting at NYU before collaborating with his brother, Jason Cleveland, on Soul’s Midnight, a vampire script that would star Armand Assante and be produced by Gray Frederickson of Graymark Productions. Brian and Jason followed up with Fingerprints, a supernatural horror film that starred Kristin Cavallari, Leah Pipes, and Lou Diamond Phillips. Fingerprints won “Best Feature” at the New York City Horror Film Festival and plays regularly on Showtime.

Brian brings many talents and new perspectives to CMG. He is an accomplished photographer, published in Light Leaks magazine and displayed in a group gallery show in New Orleans. He has both lived and traveled extensively through Africa, Asia, and South America and is a master scuba diver and cave diver.
