REFUGEES AND BYSTANDERS

Synopsis: The new, 10th documentary feature from the Simon Wiesenthal Center

In tracing the actions and personalities of holocaust survivors and their offspring who today are actively working on behalf of displaced and abandoned people, REFUGEES AND BYSTANDERS examines how we can learn from the lessons of the 1930’s and 40’s when the United States, among many other countries, turned its back on those refugees who were most in need of fleeing Nazi occupied Europe.

Gripping first hand accounts and unique insights into the workings of governments and the press will make this a must see new feature from the Academy Award winning Moriah Films production unit of the Simon Wiesenthal Center.
