NO MAN’S LAND: THE RISE OF REEKER Synopsis: At the 6 Corners Travel Stop in Death Valley, a retiring sheriff trains his son as his successor. They’re eating breakfast when they I.D. 3 fugitives who have just stopped for gas, high off a successful casino heist. After a violent shoot-out, one of the crooks is dead and an explosion destroys the gas station. Only six people seem to have survived. Meanwhile, the fire department never arrives, no other travelers appear on the road, and no one comes to help. After another shootout resulting in a number of critical wounds, they find their hearts aren't beating. They are trapped in an in-between world, in a supernatural plane between the living and the dead. In order to escape and live again, they must unite, set their “earthly” differences aside and combine their skills to fight off an even greater evil, one trailing a sickening force of decay and rot – the soul-taking, horrible killing machine known as the Reeker!
